| Senior Certified Biomedical Technician | Minimum of AAS Biomedical Technology or Military equivalent with ICC Certification (CBET). | Biomedical Equipment Specialist | Minimum of AAS Biomedical Technology or Military Equivalent with ICC Certification (CBET). | Imaging Engineer | Provides corrective and preventive maintenance for imaging and related equipment. Maintain, repair and document service records for equipment. Includes experience in one or more imaging modalities (General Rad, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Vascular, Cath Lab, CT, MR, PET) Performs and documents system calibrations/preventive maintenance. Requires Assoc Degree in Applied Science of Technology, Vocation Training or equivalent military educations. Requires one year servicing of medical imaging equipment and/or completion of Diagnostic Imaging Training courses. | 1 | |

Radiation Therapy Engineer
|
Provide front-line troubleshooting, repair and post-repair testing of medical linear accelerators and other x-ray equipment. Maintain, repair and modify computer-controlled equipment used in hypothermia treatment and research, including ultrasound transducers and microwave generators and applicators.
Varian Training highly preferred. |
